That would be Greg Dupree, the SoCal Z wizard (his license plate says TTZWIZ)! Someone below had requested photos of his car so I figured I'd make a new post since more and more of you here are getting to know his awesome 280ZTT. Spongerider, Mike (La Canada) and I were lucky enough to meet Greg for lunch on Saturday. I had wanted to see my poor crippled Z anyway so it was perfect (in for an upgraded tranny and torque converter). This is kinda freaky. One of SoCal's nicest NA's (well, I guess I'm biased!) and nicest TT's both sitting at Greg's shop with broken trannys, both automatics and both with upgraded torque converters, the same body kit and exhaust. Insert Twilight Zone theme.
Anyway, when we got there we noticed a whole new beast before our eyes. As if the 10-second capable, stock turbo, stock engined car we knew before wasn't enough, now it's packing Greddy TD05's, 555cc injectors and dual POPs (w/JWT program). And to think...he's got NOS coming next. Man! I'm actually afraid to ride in that car now... He's actually doing the finishing touches on it now (I think some custom piping and stuff) but the majority of it is in the car along with a new 3,400rpm stall speed converter. The biggest unknown is if the slicks are going to hold all that power on such a light car. Especially with such a high stall speed + NOS for down low! We'll find out soon! Anyway, here's the mod list from his profile and a few pics. 76 280Z with 91 twinturbo Engine and auto trans.
